Pierre studied at the faculty of law at the Université de Montréal. He has also taught civil procedure and labour law at the Université de Montréal and legal sciences at UQAM.

Pierre was a partner at the firm until January 2021 and has since maintained a practice in a number of files and in an advisory role. He has a wealth of experience as a litigator in labour and administrative law, in certification, grievance arbitration, judicial review of administrative tribunals and constitutional challenges with respect to the Charters and laws impacting workers. He has appeared before administrative tribunals, the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Pierre has developed expertise in collective bargaining and the negotiation of individual employment agreements in the telecommunications, petrochemical and oil and gas sectors, as well as for professional groups in the health sector. He is one of the firm’s specialists in pension plans and has developed significant expertise in pay equity and employment evaluation.
